BIGELOW, Ernest Albert February 23, 1922 April 3, 2013 Ernest (Ernie) Albert Bigelow was born in Calgary, AB on February 23, 1922 and passed away on April 3, 2013 at the age of 91. He is survived by his children; Eddie (Janice) of New Westminster, Bob of Calgary, Alan (Debbie), Barb (Greg) Hickey of Calgary; 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; his siblings, Richard of Oliver, Roy (Val) of Olds, Alice of Calgary, Eva (Frank) of Chemainus; his sister-in-law, Rose of Calgary, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife of 44 years, Ethel, in 1987; daughter, Florence in 1960; son, George in 2000; and companion, Toni Koch in 1998. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation at Pierson’s Funeral Service, 4121 17 Avenue SE on Monday, April 8, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at Pierson’s Funeral Service on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at 9:00 am with reception to follow. Interment will take place at Queens Park Cemetery.
