Florence Mary-Rose Pyykonen

PYYKONEN, Florence March 17, 1920 March 27, 2012 It is with heavy hearts we say goodbye to our dear mother, grandmother, and friend Florence Pyykonen on Tuesday, March 27, 2012. She was predeceased by her husband Toivo Pyykonen (2003) and her son Richard Pyykonen (2005). Florence is survived by her children: Wayne (Liz), Linda, Bud, Jack (Taya), Connie (Gord), Tammy, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was the heart of our family who loved each of us unconditionally every day of our lives. Florence loved her animals, reading, music, and writing poetry but most of all she loved her family. We get much comfort knowing she and dad are reunited again and together they will forever be our guardian angels. Till we meet again. A Memorial Service will be held at Pierson’s Forest Lawn Chapel, 4121- 17 Avenue SE, on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Calgary Humane Society, 4455 – 110th Avenue SE, Calgary, Alberta T2C 2T7 or at www.calgaryhumane.ca Messages of condolence may be forwarded to the family at www.piersons.ca.
