Gail Anne Voisard (Nee Yurchak)

On Friday, April 14, 2023 Mrs. Gail Voisard (nee Yurchak), beloved wife of Jack James Voisard of Calgary, Alberta passed away at home at the age of 65 years.

Gail was a true Calgarian, born and raised here. Her working career brought her from homecare to KHS Hail Repair as a receptionist. She worked at KHS Hail Repair until her retirement. Gail loved cooking for family dinners. Her passion was shopping for everything, although she got really excited when it was time to buy her summer flowers. Gail loved anything “elephants” from pictures to trinkets to ornaments. She was also passionate about her house plants, which many have survived for over 40 years.

Besides her loving husband Jack, Gail is survived by her children Dwayne Forster and his wife Jodi of Calgary, Jeff Potter and his wife Heather of Calgary, Leanne Potter and her husband Joey of Calgary, Amanda Potter and her husband Danny of Calgary, Faith Klinksiek Voisard of Kelowna, British Columbia, Corey Voisard of Nelson, British Columbia, Angela Voisard West and her husband Maurice of Nelson, British Columbia; twelve grandchildren Adeana Potter, Evan Potter, Katelynn Forster, Nikki Forster, Ciara Canning, Ryley Canning, Jaxon Canning all of Calgary, Jaide LeGuilloux, Gaige Locke both of Kelowna, Gabe VanZanden, Cam VanZanden, Darian Voisard all from Nelson; sisters Carol McIndoe and her husband Trevor of Calgary, Virginia Danbrook of Calgary; nieces Tara McIndoe, Trisha Danbrook, Tanya Danbrook all of Calgary; and nephew Robert Forster of Calgary.

Gail is predeceased by her parents Victoria and Walter Yurchak; sister June Yurchak; and nephew Steven Danbrook.

A Celebration of  Gail’s Life will take place from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at Marlborough Park Community Hall, 6021 Madigan Drive NE, Calgary, Alberta .

Cremation has taken place at the Foothills Crematorium.
