Gale, Wallace Michael

Wallace “Wally” Gale passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2023 with his daughter’s Christine and Kaitlin Gale by his side holding each of his hands; at the age of 63 years.

Wally will be lovingly remembered by his children, Christine Gale (Moises), Kaitlin Gale (Cody), Nicole Cameron (Robin) and Renee Cameron (Geoff); his grandchildren, Amil Luqman, Gabriel Betanco, Elias Betanco, Easton Willoughby, Monique Anderson, Dava Head, Garrett Sergeant, Greta Sergeant and Gwyneth Sergeant; His siblings, Monica White (Randy), Raymond Gillis, and Michael Forbes (Alyson); Wally will also be remembered by his life long friends, Andre Duffenais of AB, and Wayne Besaw of NL.

Wally was born in Stephenville, NL later moving to Alberta for work. He completed his education at SAIT to begin his career as a millwright. A career he flourished in. Wally was a gifted mechanic and all around handyman. He was a caring man, who was willing to help when the troubles arose and was always available to lend a hand to family, friends and neighbors. Wally had a keen sense of humor and enjoyed gathering with family and friends. He enjoyed camping, cooking, working on vehicles. Wally could be found working in the garage and always had a project on the go.

He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Wally was predeceased by his parents, Christine (née Gillis) and Hugh Gale; His grandparents, Alexander and Jane (née Hall) Gillis, John and Elizabeth (née Macinnis) Gale; and his brother, Stewart Gale.
