Gayle Elizabeth Draper

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gayle Draper on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at the age of 71 years. She leaves to mourn her passing sons Brad and Jeff, former daughter-in-law Tricia, her brother Bob (Kay), her sister Debbie (Wayne), nieces and nephews Michael (Kim), Kathy (Brent), Rob (Sandy), Chris (Carolynne), Carrie (Chad), Leanne (Travis), Doug, Nick (Maria), Katie (Peter), and the many children of nieces and nephews and many friends. She was predeceased by her siblings Marilyn, Patricia (Denny), Carol, and her parents James and Leah. She is also mourned by her former husband Brian (Susan), brother-in-law Dale (Maha), sister-in-law Sonia, nieces and nephews Robyn, Marie, Spencer, and other family and friends. As well, she was predeceased by father-in-law Lloyd, mother-in-law Helen and brother-in-law Doug. We also wish to thank all of the staff at Bethany Care Calgary for all of their care and concern over this past year. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 from Pierson’s Forest Lawn Chapel, 4121 – 17th Avenue S.E., Calgary, AB. A Funeral Service will be held for invited guests at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 31, 2020. The service will be broadcast via ZOOM through a link on the obituary webpage at www.piersons.ca . In lieu of floral tributes, memorials may be made in Gayle’s memory to the charity of your choice.
