She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and many great-grandchildren, extended family members and friends.
Georgina is predeceased by her husband Andrew Cesar; two sons, Richard Cesar and an infant son Robert; and her brothers Larry and Phillip.
Georgina was born and raised in Saskatoon, SK. After high school, she met and married Andrew Cesar and together they moved to Calgary. They began having children and raising them took her attention and time. She lived for her family and loved looking after them. Family dinners continued to be important long after her children left home. After Andrew passed away, Georgina found and embraced the Jehovah’s Witnesses, where she became a devoted member. Her faith and belief gave her great strength and comfort. Georgina had many interests and hobbies. She loved baking and decorating cakes, especially wedding cakes. Knitting and sewing were important to her and she made many items for her family over the years. Georgina had a love of animals and kept her pets close by until she became unable to care for them a few years ago. Georgina loved her garden which included many vegetables and beautiful flowers. Georgina took care of herself and made sure that she always looked nice. Her joy was infectious and we will miss her smile and love.
A Celebration of Georgina’s life will take place at Pierson’s Forest Lawn Chapel (4121 – 17 Avenue SE, Calgary) on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at 1:00 pm. Live broadcast of the service will be found at:
