Gerald Eugene Lenz

Gerald "Gerry" Eugene Lenz was born on May 6, 1943 to Ida and Robert Lenz in Mission, British Columbia and passed away peacefully on October 10, 2024 at the age of 81 years in Calgary, Alberta. 

Gerry was known for his ability to problem solve and as an avid electrician and craftsman. All his skills and trades were learned through trial and error and he excelled at acquiring skills that allowed him to work with his hands. When he wasn't building or creating, he was with the love of his life, Beverly and his dog, Champ. They spent time enjoying the city and each others company on many walks and journey's. His love for Bev was undeniable and was evident to anyone simply but the light in his eyes when he saw her.  Throughout their 42 years together, it only grew brighter. 

Gerry was a homebody and liked his solitude. This faired well with Bev as she also enjoyed her solitude and time with him. His friend circle was small but fostered close relationships with people he loved. 

Gerry is survived by his wife of 42 years, Beverly; Sister in-Law JoAnne; nephew Joseph; his dog Champ and many friends. 

He will be dearly missed by all who knew him and all the lives he touched.
