He also leaves behind grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as three brothers, Ken, Bruce and Tom. He is predeceased by his parents Norm and Mary Hastie and a sister Norma Bondar. He worked for many years at Whitburn Greenhouses and later for Alberta Processors. His love of Flowers was evident even in his last months as he filled his room at the Southwood Hospice with all kinds of flowers. Thanks to all the staff at the hospice for their exceptional care. At Glen’s request, there will be no funeral services. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Southwood Hospice, 211 Heritage Drive SE, Calgary, AB T2H 1M9.
