Gloria May Slater

It is with heavy, saddened hearts, that the family of Gloria Slater announce her passing on July 7, 2016, in Calgary, Alberta at the age of 85 years. Gloria was a strong, independent, hardworking, dare we say feisty woman, and anyone who had the opportunity to meet Gloria knew she had a heart of gold, never turning away someone in need. She was a kind, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, partner and friend and will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Gloria’s family wish to celebrate her life on Wednesday, July 13, 2016, at 11:00am, at Pierson’s Forest Lawn Chapel, 4121, 17 Ave SE, Calgary, Alberta, T2A 0T1.
