Grace Adell Moore (Nee Sitler)
July 21, 1938 — March 2, 2022
It is with great sadness that we announce our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away March 2nd, 2022 at the age of 83.
Grace loved to play bingo, cheer on the Calgary Flames and the Toronto Blue Jays.
Grace is survived by her loving husband of 66 years Basil; her loving daughters, Cynthia Statton and Wendy (Roger) Brien; her grandchildren, Renee (Pete Szabo) Moore and Robert (Sarah) Statton; her great-grandchildren, Jonathon and Kayla Naismith and Vincent, Ashlyn, Gwendolyn, Nikolai and Callum Hondl-Statton. Grace is also survived by two brothers in Ontario,Charles (Mabel) Sitler and Leonard (Renata) Sitler along with numerous nieces and nephews in Alberta and Ontario. Grace was predeceased by her parents, Ezra and Irene Sitler and two sisters, Eileen Hall and Agnes Sitler.
The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude and appreciation to the Doctors and Nurses of the COVID Unit at the Peter Lougheed Hospital. You treated our mom as if she was a part of your own family and took wonderful care of her and for this we will be forever grateful.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice.
