Grant Norman Stafford

Grant Stafford passed away surrounded by his family on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at the age of 61 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his parents Howard & Doreen Stafford, of Fairmont Hot Springs, BC; brother Rod Stafford (Cindy Oliver) of Calgary, AB; sister Gayle (Morley) Dougall of Fairmont Hot Springs, BC; sister-in-law Cindy Stafford; nephew Curtis Stafford; niece Adrian Stafford; and many more family and friends. Grant was born and raised in Calgary, AB. He graduated from Ernest Manning High School and then from SAIT with a facilities management diploma. He worked for many years in the facilities department of the old Alberta Children’s Hospital. Grant loved music and playing the piano. His family would like to express their gratitude to the staff and chaplain of units 32 & 72 at the Foothills Medical Center for the exceptionally kind and compassionate care they showed Grant. A Memorial Service will be held for Grant at Pierson’s Forest Lawn Chapel (4121 – 17 Avenue SE, Calgary) on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at 2:00 pm.
