Greg Clark Desautels

Greg Desautels passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2023 at the age of 64 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 21 years, Brenda Pady; step children, Janine and Sarah of Calgary, AB; Grandchildren, Jasmine and Jessica of Calgary, AB; his father, Fern Desautels of Calgary, AB; as well as Greg’s siblings, Darlene (Bert) Craig of Red Deer, AB, Tom Desautels of Calgary, AB, and Roxanne (Mike) Gill of Calgary, AB; Nephew, Jesse Craig of Edmonton, AB; and nieces, Heather of Red Deer, AB, Julie of Calgary, AB and Rachel ( Nick) of Calgary, AB.

He was predeceased by his mother, Audrey Desautels of Calgary, AB.

Greg was born on May 29, 1959 in Watrous, SK to Audrey and Fern Desautels. They later moved to Calgary, AB where Greg was raised and would spend his remaining years. Greg graduated from St Francis Highschool and later took several courses in hardwood floor finishing. This was a career that Greg took very seriously and enjoyed until his death. Greg was a kind man with a good sense of humor and built a good reputation and was well liked by his customers. Greg was an avid reader and could always be found with a book. Greg will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

A Funeral Service will be held for Greg at Pierson’s Forest Lawn Chapel (4121 – 17 Avenue SE, Calgary) on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at 2:00 pm.
