On the morning of April 21, 2022, Heath began a new journey.
Heath was born in Lethbridge, Alberta, on May 2, 1991. The big brother to two sisters.
As a young boy, he enjoyed his time at the beach with family. Many bonfires at Shutty Bench and warm swims at Ainsworth hot springs.
Heath attended school in Manitouwage, Ontario. This is where he became a champion chess player. Adventure called, and he made his way to Calgary. Heath found his home in the city, making friends and falling in love with his “Honey Bee,” Melissa.
Heath always found peace in the woods. Camping and fishing brought him such happiness.
Heath’s heart was as big as the whole outdoors. He thrived on loving and caring for others.
Heath knew that cooking was one of the great gifts you could give to those you love. Oh, how he loved big family meals and togetherness.
Heath showered love and attention on his pets; Puff, the dragon and fat cat, Sudsy. The ducks at the pond will surely be missing Heath’s regular visits and the snacks that came along with him.
Heath will be lovingly missed by his fiancé Melissa Noel, Mother Tina Knapp, sister Sarah Knapp and her children Sasha and Zachary Knapp, sister Hana Knapp, Grandparents Vincent and Donna Kana, Aunt Carrie Teichroeb, Cousins Amy Hadden, Erin Teichroeb, Colton Teichroeb, and Jillian Teichroeb.
Heath’s smile brought joy and warmth to many, and his love will live on in our memories and hearts forever.
A Celebration of Heath’s life will take place at Pierson’s Forest Lawn Chapel (4121 – 17 Avenue SE, Calgary) on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at 2:30 pm.
