Hendrika Cunningham Nee Van Egdom

Hendrika Cunningham passed away in Calgary on Tuesday July 20, 2021 at the age of 98 years. Hendrika was born in Arnem, Holland to Gerrit Van Egdom and Tryntje Van Bouwman. She met her husband Grant when he was serving in World War II and they were married on April 26, 1946. She is survived by her son, Gerrit (Terrie) of Calgary; granddaughters, Kelly Cunningham (Tyler McMillan) & Tracy (Ryan) Osaka; and great-grandchildren, Mackenzie & Grayson. She is predeceased by her husband, Grant since 2006. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother. Hendrika’s final resting place will be beside her husband in the Garden of Divinity at Alto Reste Cemetery, Red Deer. The family wish to thank the staff at Prince of Peace Harbour for their compassionate care.
