Hilda Margaret (Peg) Baillie

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Mom, Grandma and Great Grandma Peg at the age of 76. Peg is lovingly remembered by her two sons, Kevin (Bo) and Gabby (Maureen). Peg was a loving Grandma who will be sorely missed by her grandchildren Lisa (Paul), Brittney (Tyler), Trevor and her four great granddaughters Scarlett, Elizabeth, Brooklyn and Harper. Peg was the third child of ten born to Boyd and Ethel May. She was born in Calgary but grew up in the Cremona area where she met the love of her life Dave and they were married April 6 1962. They settled in Calgary and together with their sons they had a welding manufacturing business that spanned over 40 years. Her joys in life we taking care of the books for the shop as well as she loved to work outside on her acerage cutting grass, planting her flowers in her garden and shovelling snow in the winter to keep in shape. She was predeceased by her long love Dave, 3 sisters ( June, Lila, Edie) and 2 brothers (Harvey, Dillon) and her parents Boyd and Ethel. Peg is survived by 2 sisters,2 brothers Jean, Barb, Toby and Jim. The family would like to thank the Doctors and nurses on unit 44 of the PLC for their excellent care of our Mom. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Tom Baker Cancer Center. Services will be held on Wednesday July 3 2019 at 11:00am at Piersons Funeral Home. 4121 – 17 Avenue S,E Calgary, Alberta. Luncheon to follow.
