It is with heavy hearts that the family of Hilda “Sally” VanCott announces her passing on Thursday, July 7, 2016 in Calgary, Alberta. Sally will be missed by her daughters, Theresa Millwater and Julia (Darryl) Mazoka; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Alberta was home for Sally, where she worked hard and made many friends. Sally retired in Airdrie, finding happiness living independently at Fletcher Village, and often heard saying, “I am a happy camper”. Sally leaves behind her siblings, Elmer Thomson, Dagne Bigelow, William (Donna) Gardner, and Marvin (Eva) Hanson; and light in her life, Madeline Massicotte. She was predeceased by her parents, Hardis and Frithjof Bjorvik; sister, Margaret Helsa; son, Clark Hough; and best friend, Jan Naegeli. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at 1:00pm at Fletcher Village, 305 1 Avenue NW, Airdrie, AB. Sally will be forever missed and never forgotten.
