Irene Schwartz passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2023 at the age of 83 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Margaret Thomas, Georgina Chief, Frances Chief, Dennis Chief, Debbie Makay, Sandra Brant, Wade Chief, and Lisa Chief; as well as her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Irene was born in Camperville, MB on September 2, 1939. She was raised by her grandparents who instilled old fashioned values in Irene that she carried on and treasured. Irene was a kind soul who loved her family more then anything. She taught her children to above all else, love and be kind to others. Irene impacted a lot of lives. She enjoyed bingo, music, crafting, along with making beautiful flower arrangements that she would give away to people out of the kindness in her heart.
Irene will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
A Funeral Service will be held for Irene at Pierson’s Forest Lawn Chapel (4121 – 17 Avenue SE, Calgary) on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at 2:00 pm.
