Jackie Lynn Ryan, a cherished daughter, devoted sister, and beloved aunt, passed away peacefully on October 7 2024, at the Peter Lougheed Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Born February 18, 1966, in Calgary, Jackie was a beacon of creativity and humor throughout her life.

Jackie's artistic spirit was unmatched; she possessed an extraordinary ability to transform her surroundings into a work of art. Every surface in her world was an opportunity for expression, and her imaginative prowess brought joy to everyone fortunate enough to witness it. She had a remarkable wit and a clever sense of humor, consistently brightening the lives of those around her with her quick comebacks and charming anecdotes.

Jackie's legacy extends beyond her creative gifts; it is firmly rooted in her deep love for family. She leaves behind her mother, Donna; cherished siblings Pat (Lindell) Ryan of Rimbey, Tammy (Rob) Oreglia of San Francisco, and Kathleen (Randall) Hicks of Calgary, as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family members who adored her. The love she shared with them was profound, nurturing bonds that will always be remembered with warmth.

Though she is preceded in death by her father, William Grams, Jackie’s spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those she has touched. Her memory will be celebrated with the same creativity and laughter she brought into the world, an everlasting reminder of the beauty of life and love. A Celebration of Jackie's Life will take place at New Life Church - Abbeydale Fellowship Church (1352 Abbeydale Drive SE, Calgary) on Saturday October 19, 2024 at 11:00am.
