LARSON James Campbell April 4, 1929 March 9, 2012 James Campbell Larson passed away March 9, 2012 at the age of 82 years. He will be dearly missed by his wife Patricia Larson and their daughter Patricia Larson (Chris Hoy), all of Calgary. He is also survived by two sons Cameron Larson (Linda) of Calgary and Kendal Larson (Yvonne) of St. Albert; another daughter Anita Fisher (Ken) of Devon, AB; and seven grandchildren Tai, Erin, Amanda, Kailey, Collette, Tyler and Tori; and many other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by all five of his brothers and sisters. Mr. Larson was born and raised in Stirling, Alberta and after graduating from High School began working for Immigration at the Chief Mountain border crossing near Waterton Park, a humble beginning for a long and storied career with the Canadian Government. Jim loved his western roots and volunteered with the Calgary Stampede Parade Committee and also assisted with the organization of the new Canadians. He was helpful, kind, generous and had a quirky sense of humour. He will be dearly missed by his family and also his friends at Tim Hortons, 2:00 pm daily. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects and visit at Pierson’s Forest Lawn Chapel, 4121 17 Avenue SE on Thursday, March 15 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held at the same location on Friday, March 16 at 2:00 pm with cremation to follow.
