James “Jim” Anthony Gedak

It is with heavy hearts that the family of James “Jim” Anthony Gedak announces his passing on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at the age of 75 years. He is survived by his wife, Elsie; and children, Sheila and Michael. Jim was predeceased by his parents, Zack and Theresa; and brother and sister, Timothy and Josephine. Jim was born in Estevan, SK and passed away in Calgary, AB. At Jim’s request, cremation has taken place. A Prayer Service is to be held by Pastor Donald Cline, Old Tyme Baptist Church.

“God saw you getting tired, a cure was not to be. So he wrapped you in his loving arms, and whispered, “Come with me.” You suffered much in silence, your spirit did not bend. You faced your pain with courage, until the very end. You tried hard to stay with us, but your fight was not in vain. God took you to his loving home, and freed you from all pain.”
