James Joseph Norris

Jim Norris passed away on Wednesday December 13, 2017 at the age of 68 years. He will be missed by his spouse, Raylene; his siblings; extended family and friends. Jim was born in Winnipeg, and went to school with Burton Cummings, which instilled in him a love of music which he carried with him his whole life. The family moved to Calgary when Jim was a teenager into the Montgomery area. He was predeceased by his parents, sister Brenda, and sister Lorraine, and survived by sisters, Carol, Bev, Joan and brother Robert. He also leaves behind three children, Mark, Michael, Jillian and seven grandchildren. Rest in Peace. A Memorial Service will be held for James at Pierson’s Forest Lawn Chapel (4121 – 17 Avenue SE, Calgary) on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at 5:00 pm.
