Jeanne M. Cunningham

Our cherished mother & grandmother Jeanne Cunningham passed away peacefully and in to God’s arms on Tuesday, January 31st, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Jeanne was born Sept 9, 1940 in High River, AB and is survived by her 4 children Randy Springer (Lyne), Penny Tetz (Reid), Rick Springer & Rob Springer (Sandy). Jeanne is also survived by her 9 grandchildren Amy, Katie, Ashli, Alex, Chantelle, Kodie, Brittany, Riley & Amanda. She was predeceased by the love of her life and husband Harry in 2013. Mom enjoyed her time enjoying music, dancing & classic movies. Mom was the matriarch and spirit of our family and was always happiest when she was helping others. The family would like to extend their greatest appreciation to Dr. Lau and his team at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre for treating our mom with great warmth and dignity. The family also thanks the nursing staff in Unit 32 at the Foothills Hospital for taking exceptional care of mom and our family during her final days. Donations can be made in mom’s memory to the Cancer Research Society (www.crs-arc.ca). A Celebration of Life will take place at 10:00 AM on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Pierson’s Forest Lawn Chapel.
