Jim John Kanigan

KANIGAN, Jim John February 7, 1944 November 5, 2012 It is with great sadness the family of Jim Kanigan announces that he passed away on Monday, November 5, 2012 at 68 years. He leaves behind his brother Joe (Marge) Kanigan of Calgary, sister Liz McKay of Grand Forks BC, as well as many other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Jim was predeceased by his parents John and Polly Kanigan and his brother Walter. Jim was Born in Verigin SK, and worked as a psychiatric nurse with disabled children. He loved his work and all those with who he worked with. Jim will be greatly missed and loved by all who knew him. A Gathering will be held at Pierson’s Forest Lawn Chapel on Thursday, November 8, 2012 from 7:00 – 9:00 PM. The family would like to thank the staff at Mayfair Care Center for all their care and concern with Jim. At Jim’s request there will be no service held. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Mayfair Care Center (8240 Collicut Street S.W., Calgary, AB. T2V 2X1)
