John Francis Quinlan

John Quinlan passed away peacefully at the Peter Lougheed Hospital, Calgary, AB on Sunday, August 23, 2015 at the age of 60 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 36 years Loretta; sons John Jr. (Annette) and Christopher (Shawna); grandsons Landon, Carter and Jonah. sisters Clare, Marg (Len) and Jen; brothers Phil (Sue) and Tom (Sharon). He was predeceased by his parents Raphael & Monica (nee Bradbury). John’s family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the Internal Medicine Team, GI Team, Respiratory Team, and ICU Team, but most of all a special thank you to all the staff and caregivers of unit 38 at the Peter Lougheed Hospital. The care given to both John and Loretta was exceptional in every way. A Visitation will be held for John at Pierson’s Forest Lawn Chapel (4121 – 17 Avenue SE, Calgary) on Friday, August 28, 2015 from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. Cremation will follow at Rocky View Crematorium. In John’s memory and request on behalf of his son Christopher donations may be made to the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of Canada (www.crohnsandcolitis.ca).
