John Hector Thompson

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of John on Friday, December 1, 2023 at the age of 65. He is survived by his wife, Sheila; sons George, Jeffery, Lachlan, Logan, and Nolan; grandchildren Phoenix, Nathaniel, Eva and Alex; ex-wife Karen; siblings Larry, Terry, Fred, Dean and Tania. As well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends who became family, especially Bob Hayter. John was predeceased by his son, Steven, his father, two brothers as well as his nephew.

John was known for his excellent skill and talent as a carpenter, his long hair, reading and his love of riding his motorcycle.

There will be a celebration of life for John held in the New Year.
