John Ireland passed away at home from heart failure on Saturday, June 5, 2021.
He attended Queen Elizabeth School grades 1-12 and SAIT where he graduated from Welding Engineering. John held a variety of occupations such as milkman, bus driver, marble worker, and house husband before settling on a profession in woodworking. He became a craftsman, owned a cabinet shop and at retirement still had all of his fingers!
John had an awesome sense of humor. He preferred to stay out of the limelight and kept his relationships close. He was intelligent, kind, loyal, protective, strong and gentle. Together for 47 years, married for 38 years, he is survived by his wife, Loretta (nee Webber); and his daughter, Jill. A private Celebration of Life will be held at a future date.
