Johnny “JJ” James Gobeil, age 49 passed over peacefully at his home Saturday November 30th, fulfilling his final wish of being with his boys Zues, Jack and Chase.
Johnny is survived by his beloved mother, Theresa Gobeil; his best friend Arlene Derksen (Bubba); his dad Reggie D (Molly) and their children Johnny, Chris and Sarah; his second mom Petra Giesa; his brothers Del Sather and his children William, Tyler, Mike, Donovan, and Alex. Daved Hamguien (Kathrine) and their children Natalie, Brooklyn, Zaraki, and Killua; his niece Shyla Derksen and her son Kolby and his treasured nephew Chase Davis. Along with so many other friends and family.
Johnny was an honourable man who took great pride in his family, friends and of course his pride and joy, his dogs Zues and Jack. They were the lights of his life. Johnny loved spending time with his boys and taking them on long walks to the dog park with Chase. He had a love for camping, fishing and the outdoors, from back home farms to the beautiful Rocky Mountains. He loved driving, new cars, working on cars and just vehicles in general. His bike meant the world to him and he was so proud of all the work he put into it. During the summer months you could always catch him outside enjoying the sun, BBQs in the backyard, hanging out with the kids, going for bike rides with Daved or playing board games, having drinks and talking for hours with his best friend.
Johnny was someone you could always count on to be there when you needed him, rain or shine anytime, anywhere!
We were all so proud of the man he was until the very end. He was one of a kind that no one can ever forget who touched so many hearts leaving great skills in his teachings behind. He fought a hard battle that was a fight he couldn’t win in the end but he fought with everything he had.
It would take a book to wright each person who he left behind but he will live on in our hearts forever and ever AMEN ❤️
