We think of bygone days
When we were all together
The family chain is broken now
But memories live forever.
To us he has not gone away
Nor has he travelled far
Just entered God’s eternal home
And left the gate ajar.
Yesterday is history
Tomorrow is a mystery
Today is a gift . . .
That is why it is called the “Presentâ€
It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Joseph S. D’Silva on Sunday, January 10, 2021, at the age of 97 years. He has joined his wife Irene D’Silva (RIP) of 47 years.
He was born in Karachi, Pakistan and immigrated to Canada in the early 1980’s.
Joseph will be lovingly remembered by his three sons and their families, Llewelyn and his wife Cheryl, Selwyn, Cledwyn and his wife Michelle, and Christine. He also leaves behind seven grandchildren Lionel, Leonard and his wife Adrijana, Lawrence and his wife Rachel, Caleb, Amy and her husband Kevin, Peter, and Julie. He was lucky enough to meet and know his only GREAT Granddaughter Olivia before passing.
Due to COVID restrictions, a Private Funeral Service will be held for Joseph on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at 1:30 pm. The service may be viewed by live web cast through the link under the Tribute Wall tab on this web page. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate a Mass offered for the Souls of Joe and Irene.
