TURNER, Florence Kathleen “Kae” (nee Dibb) August 18, 1922 – May 30, 2012
Kae Turner passed away on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at the age of 89 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Mark (Inna) Turner, of Vancouver, BC, Lisa (Paul) Whitsitt, of Whitby, ON, Shelley (Brad) Harker and David (Ann) Turner, both of Calgary, AB; grandchildren, Sophie Turner, Solomon Turner, Jennifer (Rick) Stewart, Warren (Sara) Whitsitt, Ryan Whitsitt, Steven Whitsitt, Jonathan Whitsitt, Erin Harker, Kent Harker, Sara Harker, Nathan (Krystin – fiancee) Turner, Sam Turner, Kirstina Turner, and Emmalee Turner; great grandchildren, Andrew Stewart, Christian Stewart and Carter Stewart; step brother Brian Dibb; and many more family and friends in both Israel and Canada. She was predeceased by her husband Fred Turner, granddaughter Kimberly Whitsitt and brother Hartley Dibb. Kae was born in Ontario and raised both in Ontario and England. She met her eternal companion, Fred Turner, in Ontario where they were married and started their family. In 1982 they moved to Alberta which has been their home ever since. She loved to be active, the outdoors, cooking, reading and playing cards, but her greatest passion was her family. Kae’s family would like to acknowledge Dr. Ward Flemons, Dr. Sy Lam, all the other physicians, nurses and healthcare workers who provided expert and compassionate care over the last few years. Funeral Services will be held for Kae at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Bow Valley Chapel, 2526 24 Avenue NW, on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Queens Park Cemetery.
