We are saddened to announce the passing of Kathy on December 23, 2013, at the age of 85. She is survived by her husband of 64 years: Karl; one daughter: Marlene (Jurgen) Alberti of Calgary; three grandchildren: Denise (Brad) Alberti, Cherie ( Mark) Williams and Tammy Piper; three great-grandchildren: Darren and Matthew Williams, Sebastian Alberti; everyone of Calgary; one sister: Maria Jaegers of Menchengladbach, Germany. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held from Pierson’s Funeral Service Forest Lawn Chapel, 4121 17 Avenue, S.E., on Friday, January 17, 2014, at 11:00 A.M., with Reverend Michael Jones officiating.
