Katherine Vera Wozny

Katherine Wozny passed away on Monday, February 18, 2019 at the age of 77 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 59 years, Nick Wozny; her brother James Ellaschuk of Wroxton, SK; sister Delores Brookes of Calgary, AB; and many more family and friends. Katherine grew up on the family farm in Wroxton, SK with her 3 brothers and 4 sisters. She met the love of her life, Nick, at the local dances and started their life together in Wroxton. They later moved to Estevan, SK until Nick’s work in machinery lead them to Calgary in 1971, where they have lived ever since. She spent her working years in manufacturing at Western Aluminum Products. Katherine was creative and loved baking. She was a very talented cake decorator. Katherine also enjoyed gardening and rodeo, and had a love for life and a love for dance! At Katherine’s request, a private family gathering will be held.
