Katie Plett

Katie Plett went to be with her Lord on Friday, April 1, 2016 at the age of 95 years in Calgary, AB. Katie immigrated to Canada with her family in 1924 from Kamenetz, Russia. She resided in a variety of places throughout Saskatchewan and Alberta. She moved to Calgary, AB in 1952. Katie is survived by her children Bernie (Jane) Plett, Ron (Heather) Plett, Gerry (Tina) Plett, Renee (Don) Hetherington, Julie (Kevin) Matiowsky; her eleven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; her four brothers and two sisters. Katie was predeceased by her husband Aron; and her four brothers and three sisters. In lieu of flowers, donations in Katie’s name may be made directly to the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association of Canada, 20 Hopewell Way N.E., Calgary, AB T3J 5H5.
