Ken Luedemann passed away on Monday, May 15, 2023 at the age of 61 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his mother Valentine Luedemann; sister Valerie Weseen (Ed), and their sons Nick and Kyle; brothers Bob Luedemann, Carey Luedemann (Teresa) and Peter Luedemann; several nieces and nephews; closest friend Mike Chartrand; and many more family and friends. He was predeceased by his father Hans Luedemann and sister-in-law Cathy Luedemann.
Ken was born and raised in Calgary. He worked for a number of years as a bicycle courier and then as a framer. He loved fishing, camping and hunting and was a gun enthusiast. He also enjoyed anything military. Ken was also an avid sports fan and loved the Calgary Flames and Calgary Stampeders. Ken will mostly be remembered for being a people person and someone who could make a friend with anyone.
Ken’s family would like to express their sincere thanks to the medical staff at the Foothills Medical Center and all of his church friends for the kind and compassionate care and friendship during his illness.
A Funeral Service will be held for Ken at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints – California Blvd Chapel (7017 California Boulevard NE, Calgary) on Friday, May 19, 2023 at 11:00 am.
