Ken Wall passed away at Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary on Sunday, January 1, 2023 at the age of 57 years.
Ken is survived by his father, Melvyn Wall; sister, Jean Belcastro; niece, Maria Belcastro and her children, Taylor, Ryan & Alexandra; niece, Melissa (Danilo) Schoenfledt and her son, Julian; nephews, Frank Belcastro, Bryan & Kenneth Wall. He is predeceased by his mother, Gloria; and brother, Bryan.
Ken was born in Moose Jaw but lived in Calgary most of his life. Ken was a gifted and talented musician. He was a song writer and played the electric guitar. His love for music began at a young age. The first song he learned to play was Stairway To Heaven and the first concert he went to was Alice Cooper when he was around 10 years old. His sister, Jean, accompanied him due to his young age. He’d been in many bands over the years including – Joker, Beyond Possession and Dead Duck. His musical talents allowed him to tour Canada and the States playing with his band.
A Memorial Service for Ken will take place at Pierson’s Funeral Service (4121 – 17 Avenue SE, Calgary, AB) on Thursday January 19, 2023 at 2:00pm followed by a reception at the same location.
