Kyle Anthony Poitras

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our son, brother, uncle, nephew and cousin, Kyle Anthony Poitras on Tuesday March 9, 2021.
Kyle is predeceased by his grandfathers, Garnet Hyatt and James Poitras; and grandmother, Lena Poitras. He leaves behind his grandmother, Lois Hyatt; father Glen Poitras; mother Janet Hyatt; and sister, Averie. Kyle has many numerous family and friends who will dearly miss him.
Kyle was very kind hearted and loved by all those who knew him. After graduating from high school in 2011, he went on to work at Coca-Cola for 9 years until his passing. Kyle adored his mother and he would always take his father to the Calgary Flames hockey games when he was very young. Kyle enjoyed hiking, skating and playing video games. He was an animal lover. His dog, Scrappy and bearded dragon, Rex will miss him as well.
Relatives and friends are invited to be with Kyle at a visitation commencing at 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at Pierson’s Funeral Service, 4121 – 17 Avenue SE, Calgary. Due to pandemic protocol, a maximum of 20 people are permitted at any one time. Please stagger your arrivals.
A Celebration of Kyle’s Life will take place at a later date.
