In the garden of memory, in the place of dreams that is where you and I shall meet: The Mad Hatter, Lewis Carroll Alice Through the Looking Glass.
It is with profound and unimaginable sadness that we announce Kyle unexpected passing at the age of 46.
He is remembered by his wife, Kaley and his sons, Robert and Max; his parents, Debbie and Rod Semenchuk; his parents in-law, Colleen and Bob Conroy; his little sister, Vanessa (Jay) Sullivan; his brothers in law, Eric and Chris Rex; his grandmother, Marolyn Crighton; his aunts, Lisa (Keith) Holmes and Michelle (Sandra Strangman) Crighton; his nieces and nephews: Mckenna and Lucas Nechka, Jack and Addie Sullivan and Sophia Rex; cousins: Kelsey (Robert( Hansen, Courtney (Greg) Richard and Natacha Sibbett. Last, but certainly not least, he is remembered by his friends, old and new, and by those to whom, at the time of his passing, he provided support as they tried to find their way as he had found his.
Kyle was a kind and gentle man with a huge heart. His life’s journey was not without its trials, but with strength and courage, he found himself and never looked back. We were all so very proud of him. He was a man of few words, but in his silence, he exuded strength and a sense of calm to those who needed him most. What we will all miss the very most is the way his smile met his beautiful blue eyes and lit up his face whenever anyone he loved entered a room. We will hold fast to this memory so that it might sustain us in our grief.
In lieu of flowers, our family would be grateful if you would consider donating to the Dream Centre (4510 McLeod Trail SW, Calgary, Alberta T2G 0A4), an organization that was dear to Kyle’s heart.
A Memorial Service will be held for Kyle at Pierson’s Forest Lawn Chapel (4121 – 17 Avenue SE, Calgary) on Saturday March 27, 2021 at 1:30 pm. Due to gathering restrictions, attendance is by invitation only.
