Kyreese George Wright

With deepest sorrow, we announce that Kyreese George Wright, age 20, our beloved son, brother, family member and friend tragically passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2020.

Those of us who knew Kyreese, even just a little, lost a shining light in our lives.

Kyreese was born on April 10, 2000, to Lawrence Peart & Allison Halicki. He was adopted at the age of 2 years by his parents, George and Neleta Wright after fostering him for 21 months.

Kyreese loved so many and was loved by many more. He had an infectious smile and matching energy that with even one encounter with him, you would remember him for life. Kyreese will continue to stay with us all through memories, and the laughs he forced us all to endure whether we were in the mood for it or not.

Kyreese is survived by his dad, George Wright, his biological mother and grandmother, sisters, brothers, his many nieces, nephews, cousins, his cat Dizzo, extended family and close friends. He is predeceased by his grandmother Mavis Wright (2013), his BELOVED mom Neleta Wright (2016), his biological father (2016), and his grandmother Eunice Green (2017).

Although he is gone and we will never be the same again, we must come together and have a laugh for Kyreese. Kyreese would have wanted it that way.

Relatives and friends are invited for a time of visitation from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Pierson’s Forest Lawn Chapel, 4121 – 17 Avenue SE, Calgary, Alberta. According to pandemic protocol, only ten people are allowed in the funeral home at one time. Mask wearing is mandatory, as well as social distancing.
