OLAFSON, Larry David December 23, 1946 April 4, 2012 It is with great sorrow that the family of Larry Olafson announces his unexpected passing at the age of 65 years. Larry was a dedicated family man who loved a good book, a great meal and stimulating conversation. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 42 years Marjorie; son Lane (Olena); granddaughter Elianna; his parents Ruth and Albert; sisters Dianne de Champlain (Paul) and Kari Paul (Alan); mother-in-law Eleanora Lahoda; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. Memorial Service to be held at Pierson’s Forest Lawn Chapel (4121 – 17 Ave SE) on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at 12:30pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to STARS (Shock Trauma Air Rescue Society, 1441 Aviation Park NE, Calgary, AB, T2E 8M7).
