Larry Joseph Langan passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at the age of 60 years at Calgary, Alberta. Born in Roblin, Manitoba, he was the son of Frank and Clara Langan of Boggy Creek, Manitoba. Larry received his education in Roblin, Manitoba and Regina, Saskatchewan. He worked at various jobs including construction, bakery, car wash, and roofing. Larry enjoyed camping, plenty of fishing, exploring and travel. He was adventurous, always meeting new people. Larry had a restless spirit and lived a spontaneous lifestyle. He will be remembered for his hardy laughter, phone conversations, and tall stories. Larry is survived by his son Terrance; his seven brothers Gerald, Melvin, Kelvin, Brian, Doug, Keith, and Randall; his three sisters Alma, Sharon, and Carolyn; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Larry was predeceased by his parents Frank and Clara Langan, as well as his twin brother at birth. A visitation viewing was held on February 25, 2018 at 9 am at Pierson’s Funeral Service Forest Lawn Chapel (4121 – 17 Ave SE, Calgary, AB) with cremation to follow.
