Lauré Clark passed peacefully at the Rockyview Hospital on December 5th, 2023. She was 70 years of age.
Lauré was born February 11, 1953 in New Westminster, BC. During her teenage years she moved with family to Calgary where she attended Bowness high school for a short time before returning to BC. She loved the ocean in Whiterock. Calgary called her back however, and she returned. It was here she met the love of her life, Wayne Clark on June 10th, 1978. She sold him some Avon aftershave. They married on September 9th of that year and by July of 1979 had their first daughter followed by their second daughter at Christmastime in 1983. She enjoyed bowling and bingo in her younger years. In her later years as her health declined she enjoyed word search puzzles, watching NHL games (Canucks fan), CFL games (BC Lions), and the comfort of classic films with Grease and Blue Hawaii being favorites. Lauré was a huge fan of Elvis Presley and her memorabilia collection is admirable. Equally as admirable was her uncanny ability to remember the birth date, anniversary or any other date of significance of everyone she ever knew.
Lauré is predeceased by her parents, Gladys Murray (Prediger) and John Beaugrand; her stepfather, John Murray; as well as several siblings, Eva Beaugrand, John Beaugrand, Dallas Beaugrand, Maurice Beaugrand, Chuck Beaugrand. She is survived by her sisters, Liz (Doug) Sondrol and Diana (Ray) Bozzard, and a brother, Gerald (Kristian) Beaugrand; as well as many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her daughters, Jeannie (Lincoln) Stewart and Andrea (Russell) Meszaros; her two grandchildren Xander Stewart and Zoe-Jane Stewart; as well as her devoted husband, Wayne.
The family would like to thank Dr Wycleff-Jones for his exceptional care over the years, the Bethany Care Society for their care over the last year and the staff at Rockyview Hospital who kept her safe and comfortable.
The family intends to hold a memorial dinner at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family asks that a donation be made to either the
Heart and Stroke Foundation
who she regularly canvassed for or the
Bethany Care Society

That’s someone you’ll never forget
– Elvis Presley
The way she held your hand
The little things you planned
Her memory is with you yet
That’s someone you never forget
When she is far away
You’ll think of her each day
And you know she’ll wait for you
That’s someone you never forget
Others may pass your way
And let you think their love is true
But you know that they’ll never replace
The one that waits for you
The way she held your hand
The little things you planned
Her memory is with you yet
That’s someone you’ll never forget
That’s someone you’ll never forget
