Lees (Nee Yauch), Barbara Jean
October 6, 1933 — September 14, 2023
Daughter of Charles and Mariam (Wiggins) Yauch of Olds. Barbara is survived by her husband of 66 years, Murray Lees, daughter Wendy Lees, son Peter Lees and grandsons Ian and Colin Lees. Also by her sister Carol Fowler, nephew Chuck Fowler and his son Bryan.
Barbara enjoyed years of activity with St. David’s United Church Couples’ Club, the Evergreen Seniors Outdoor Club, St. Thomas United Church Primetimers and Quilting for Others groups. She took pleasure in entertaining friends and relatives as well as playing bridge, gardening and quilting.
A celebration of life will be held at St. Thomas United Church, 100 Hawkwood Blvd. N.W. on Wednesday, September 27 at 2:00 pm. If desired, donations may be made to Hospice Calgary, or a charity of choice.
