Born October 20, 1926, in Cardston, Alberta. Passed away peacefully on July 1, 2016 in Cardston, Alberta. Keith was predeceased by his eternal companion Gloria. Keith and Gloria are survived by their three daughters Karen (Don) Baker, Glenda (Neil) Draper, Janis (Neal) Kershaw; their eighteen grandchildren and their fifty-six great-grandchildren. Keith is also survived by his second wife Jean, who has taken wonderful care of him. He served faithfully in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints through temple service, serving two full time missions, and many other callings in the church. Next to his family and faith, Keith’s love was music. He was well known in the church and community for conducting various choirs, musicals and Handel’s “The Messiah”. Keith was employed by the City of Calgary as a supervisor for institutions, the Children’s Aid Shelter for neglected children and the Detention Centre. Keith was a dedicated employee throughout his many years with the City. He is loved and will be missed by many. A visitation will be held for Keith on Thursday, July 7, 2016, from 7-9pm at Pierson’s Funeral Service Forest Lawn Chapel, 4121 17 Ave SE, Calgary, AB, T2A 0T1. A funeral for Keith will be held on Friday, July 8, 2016 at 11:00am, with a viewing earlier on the same day in the Relief Society room, from 9:30-10:45am, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Bow Valley Chapel, 2526 24 Ave NW, Calgary, AB, T2N 4H9.
