It is with immense sadness that Lisa Valen passed away suddenly on Friday, October 8, 2021 at the age of 47.
Lisa was a happy child who loved to dance and sing; and especially loved tap dancing. After graduating from high school, she got married to Dion Andrushko and blessed our lives with the birth of her beautiful daughter, Tia-Lin, the love of her life. Lisa then attended CDI college and began a career working as a medical administrator at Clifton Manor. Throughout her career she also worked at Kings Kids; and as a lunch room supervisor at Cappy Smart for CBE; and then as a Medical Administration Instructor at the Academy of Learning College. Lisa loved going to church and she loved the Lord. She has now gone home to be with her Lord.
Lisa will be remembered with love by her precious daughter, Tia-Lin Andrushko of Calgary; her mother, Linda Valen of Calgary; her siblings, Darren Valen of Calgary, Pamela (Curtis) Hill of High River, and Valerie Valen of Toronto; her grandfather William Pridge; her aunts and uncles, Dennis Pridge, Gary Pridge, Robert (Lorrie) Pridge, Sandra Pridge, and Terry Pridge. Lisa was predeceased by her father, Terance Philip Valen; maternal grandmother, Dorothy Pridge; uncles, James Pridge, Thomas Pridge, and Daniel Pridge.
A Celebration of Life will held at City Mosaic Church – Marlborough Community Center, 636 Marlborough Way NE, Calgary, Alberta, on Sunday, October 17, 2021 at 1:30 p.m.
