Lloyd Draper passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at the age of 89 years. He will be dearly remembered by his loving wife of 53 years Helen; children, Brian (Susan) Draper, Dale (Maha) Draper, Kenneth (Belinda) Draper, Janet (David) Comb, Marjorie (Ted) Kerrison and Neil (Glenda) Draper; 26 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; sister Donna Henderson; Sister-in-laws Marr Draper and Mary Draper; and many more family and friends. He was predeceased by his son Douglas Draper. Lloyd was born at his family home in Hill Spring, AB on July 14, 1922. He joined the Air Force and fought in WWII where he was a Lancaster Pilot for the RAF. After the war, he spent a couple of years farming in the Hill Spring area but eventually ended up in Calgary where spent the majority of his life. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting, but his greatest love was his family. Funeral Services will be held for Lloyd at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Willow Park Chapel, 940 Acadia Drive SE, on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. with visitation to start at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Hill Spring, AB.
