Lois B Housley

Lois Housley passed away on Monday, January 20, 2020 at the age of 81 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 55 years Dick; children Julia (Mike) Kostiuk, Kirk (Rachel) Housley, Dan (Michelle) Housley and Paul Housley; grandchildren Jessica, Jaclyn, Tyler, Sarah, Angela, Hunter, Riley, Jack and Drew; three great grandchildren; and many more family and friends. She was predeceased by her grandson Sean. Lois was born in Cardston, AB and raised in Glenwood, AB. After finishing school, she moved to Calgary where she worked as a Secretary Receptionist. She met the love of her life, Dick Housley, and they were married three months later and were blessed with four children. Lois enjoyed reading and doing genealogy, but her greatest love was being a mother and grandmother. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she served as the Relief Society President three times over the years.

A Funeral Service will be held for Lois at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints – 17th Ave. Stake Centre (2021 17 Ave SW, Calgary) on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 1:00 pm. Interment will take place at Rocky View Garden of Peace Cemetery.
