Lonnie John Rapson passed away on Friday, December 30, 2022 at the age of 56 years.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of seventeen years, Devina Rapson ( nee Deneiga) of Calgary, AB; His daughter, Lorraine Marchelle Rapson of Calgary, AB; as well as his siblings, Randy Rapson( Caroline Bak) of Fairview, AB; Dale Rapson of Calgary, AB; Cheryl Rapson of Calgary, AB; Calvin Rapson ( Tina Barthelette) of Calgary, AB; and Valerie (Rob) Stephenson of Chestermere, AB.
Lonnie was born in Fairview, AB to Cecile and Chester Rapson. He later moved to Calgary where he would spend his remaining years. Lonnie was a caring man who had a heart of gold. He was always there to lend a hand to a friend or his family. Lonnie was hardworking and always up to a challenge.
He was a man of faith who was a member of the seventh-day adventist church. Lonnie will be remembered for his kindness, and willingness to help anyone.
He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
A Funeral Service will be held for Lonnie at the Calgary M.E.T.R.O Filipino Seventh-Day Adventist Church (5511 Baroc Rd NW, Calgary, AB T3A 4R1, ) on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at 2:00 pm.
