Loretta Faiman

Loretta Faiman passed away on October 8, 2024. 

Loretta was born in Šušnjevica in Istria, Croatia on September 5, 1934.

Her and her husband, Joakin and their daughter left for Italy in 1957. After 3 years, they left Italy for a new life in Canada in September of 1960, settling first in Patricia, Alberta on a farm and then Calgary. Loretta and Joakin bought their home in 1965 in the new area of Forest Heights, where Loretta resided until her passing. 

Loretta loved growing beautiful flower gardens every year and later lawn ornaments. During the holidays, Christmas decorations filled the house, both inside and out. 

Christmas was Loretta's favourite time of the year. She also had a love for angel ornaments, home decorations, animals and airplanes. She had a heart of gold to everybody and was loved by many.

She is predeceased by her parents, father Ivan, mother Dina; Sister Julia and beloved daughter, Lilliana.

She is survived by her son Gerry Faiman; grandchildren Jessie, Julia, and Marco Delbello; sister Ada Brkaric and Nephews Robert and Oliver Zakoc.

A small family funeral will take place at Rocky View Garden of Peace on Wednesday, October 16, 2024.
