Louise June Manning (“Lou”), 73, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at the Rockyview General Hospital in Calgary, AB. She was born March 18, 1945 in Athabasca, AB.
Louise was a resident of Calgary for over 60 years. She took great pride in her home where she especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends around the kitchen table sharing wonderful meals and great laughs. Her passion was her garden and she loved being in the sunshine and having dirt under her fingernails. She had the most loving generous heart and always put others before herself. She touched many lives with her presence and her family and friends will always be thankful for the gift that was her life.
She was preceded in death by her beloved soul mate Bert Desrochers. She is survived by her children, Darren Manning and Dana Gardner along with many other close relatives.
Family, friends and others whose lives Louise touched are invited to celebrate her life at Piersons Funeral Home, 4121 17 Avenue SW, Calgary, AB on Monday, July 16, 2018 at 11 AM.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice.
