Scott, Louise Anna December 9, 1936 – March 21, 2025 Louise, beloved wife of Reginald Ell, of Calgary, passed away peacefully at the age of 88 at the Agape Hospice Manor. Louise was born and raised in Bassano, AB before moving to British Columbia, Lethbridge and finally settling in Calgary.
Louise worked with RBC Bank her whole career and eventually retired with them. Louise was an accomplished ten-pin bowler; she also loved playing golf and baseball. She actually loved all sports, cheering passionately for all the Calgary professional teams and the Toronto Blue Jays. Louise and Reg were long time season ticket holders of the Calgary Hitmen Hockey Club and along with home games, they enjoyed many trips with the team. Another passion of Louise’s was cards; she especially loved a good game of crib! Louise loved to spend time with family.
She was a vibrant, fun-loving person with an infectious laugh. Besides her husband, Reg, Louise is survived by her children, Randy Scott, Duncan Scott, Lorraine Murphy, Richard (Karleen) Ell, her grandchildren, Jordynn (Braeden) and Emma (Edi) and many beloved nieces and nephews. Louise was predeceased by her mother, Anna Simonin, her father, Louis Simonin, sister, Madeline Slater, brothers, Maurice and Raymond Simonin and her first husband, Duncan Scott.
