Rioux, Marcel (76) We are saddened to announce that Marcel, beloved Father, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather and friend, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 5 at the Intercare Millrise surrounded by his family.Marcel’s children and friends will always remember his calm personality, kindness and generosity. He was always willing to give a helping hand to others.Marcel was also a great cook, with Barbeque and Boston Clam Chowder soup being his specialties. As a great marksman, Marcel was an avid sharp shooter and hunter, enjoying the outdoor life whenever he could. Marcel’s enterpreneurial spirit was evident throughout his life. He was the owner of several businesses including service stations, convenience stores and a janitorial business.His customers will remember him for his dedication to them and great customer service. Marcel was predeceased by his loving wife Frances in 2010.He is survived by his daughters Meischelle( Rocky)and Denise(Rob) as well as his son Dion (Lynnea). His legacy also lives in his five grandchildren and three great- grandchildren.The family would like to thank, the staff at Intercare Millrise for their wonderful care and compassion, during Marcel’s stay with them. At Marcel’s request, no Funeral Service will be held . In lieu of flowers, if you wish to make a donation in memory of Marcel, please do so to the charity of your choice.
